The Art Deco-style hotel has 912 rooms all equipped with flat-panel TVs with free HBO and pay-per-view movies as well as free Wi-FI. High-speed internet access is available. There's a spacious Art Deco lobby and a concierge desk and guests have use of fitness and business facilities. The hotel also has an on-site tavern and a diner and room service is also an option. Parking is provided for a fee. The hotel is on 34th Street and 8th Avenue across from Penn Station and Madison Square Garden. LaGuardia Airport is a 20-minute drive JFK is 30 minutes and Newark Airport is a 35-minute drive away (all times dependent on traffic conditions). “The lobby is nice. The staff were friendly (Mohammad was wonderful). We were on the 21st Floor and it looks like it wasn’t been updated since it was built. Tiny bathroom old fashioned toilet. Looks like it’s hunted. Towels are dingy. Only upside is that it’s in walking distance from Penn Station. No microwave. No coffee pot.”
